La série NJ70 combine le bon vieux avec le meilleur du plus récent. Cet ordinateur portable de 17 pouces dispose optionnellement d’un lecteur optique pour lire et graver des CD et des DVD. De plus, l’ordinateur portable a quelque chose que vous ne voyez plus souvent : un port VGA pour connecter un écran externe analogique. Néanmoins, cet ordinateur portable rapide utilise un processeur Intel Core de 11e génération et offre donc les performances d’un ordinateur moderne. L’écran de 17 pouces avec un bon rendu des couleurs et l’illumination du clavier rendent le portable attrayant pour travailler tous les jours.

Matériels, assemblage, options proposées et possibilité de pré-installer Ubuntu (dans mon cas) qui permet de gagner du temps. Tout est parfait ! Un seul bémol : l’autonomie de la batterie, vraiment faible ! Mon ancien portable, qui a 7 ans, a une durée de charge presque 2 fois supérieure. J’étais toutefois prévenu dans le descriptif du matériel. Enfin ,reste à savoir si le matériel sera durable. Quoi qu’il en soit, je recommande !

Alle Hardwarekomponenten wurden einwandfrei installiert und harmonieren perfekt mit Linux Mint! Auch die Linux Mint Installation ist top.
Der Notebook ist wirklich sehr leise, die Tastatur sehr angenehm und das Display ist super!
Der austauschbare Akku war (neben der Konfigurierbarkeit des Notebooks) ein wichtiger Kaufgrund, denn andere Hersteller verbauen diesen mittlerweile fest in ihren Notebooks…

Sturdy & stylish. Compact, yet full featured. Don’t worry if you ordered an extra SSD drive instead of a DVD drive and notice what looks like a DVD drive on the side — that’s just a placeholder – the drive is tucked away inside. A bit pricey but I was happy to pay more for a GNU/Linux compatible machine. The keyboard is excellent. The only downside I can think of is that I wish there were more USB Type-A ports.

Ich wollte einen 17″-Laptop kaufen, in dem Windows und Linux auf unterschiedlichen Festplatten installiert sind und wahlweise gestartet werden können. Die Suche in lokalen Media-Geschäften war ernüchternd und erfolglos.
Nach längerer Internet-Recherche in Deutschland fand ich kein wirklich sinnvolles Angebot.
Interessanterweise war ein niederländischer Anbieter, nämlich NovaCustom, der einzige Anbieter, der absolut problemlos eine für mich sinnvolle Konfiguration und Ausstattung angeboten hat, letzte Detailfragen zur Konfiguration wurden telefonisch sehr freundlich und kompetent geklärt.
Ich habe nun tatsächlich endlich einen Rechner, der genau das enthält, was ich benutzen will, und der so konfiguriert ist, wie ich früher Festrechner selbst zusammengestellt habe, als platzsparenden Laptop, und der läuft einfach schnell und problemlos…….
Zusammengefasst: DANKE DANKE DANKE
Dieses Gerät ist sein Geld absolut wert. Mehr gibt es dazu nicht zu sagen.

Ein Anbieter bei dem man seinen Rechner selbst konfigurieren kann und das auch noch mit verschiedenen Betriebssystemen, das habe ich, außer bei NovaCustom, nirgendwo gefunden. Der Rechner selbst ist sehr gut verarbeitet, die gewünschten Software war vorinstalliert und es macht sehr viel Spaß mit so einem Gerät zu arbeiten. Ich konnte das Gerät persönlich in Haaksbergen abholen, die Terminabsprachen dazu waren völlig problemlos. Der Empfang des Rechners bei einer Tasse Kaffee und einem netten Gespräch verlief auch in einer sehr ruhigen Atmosphäre. Ich bin froh das ich bei der Recherche nach einem neuen Laptop auf NovaCustom gestoßen bin, so unkompliziert und kompetent wie hier kommuniziert wird, das gibt es in keinem Media-Geschäft. Ich glaube, wer bei NovaCustom einemal einen Rechner gekauft hat, wird nie mehr woanders einen kaufen.

-: lack of indicators (specially numlock), only one USB 3.0 port, big issues (ineffective touchpad , 2nd drive not detected) with a 5.4 LTS linux kernel so i had to install Xubuntu 22.04 instead of Linux Mint 20.3), power cord too short.
Now there’s something i can’t talk about yet: reliability of course, the machine being brand new 😉

You can solve the Linux Mint issues by installing the hwe kernel with the following command:
sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-20.04
Then reboot.
We supply our adapters with a 1.5m power cord, but have an optional 5m power cord which could have been ordered while configuring your laptop. If you would like to still order this, please contact us. You may also find such a cable in an electronics shop nearby.

Am Montag bestellt, per Dienstag Geld überwiesen und am Freitag den selbst konfigurierten Laptop in den Händen gehalten, obwohl die CH kein EU Land ist Die Lieferung entspricht zu 100% der Bestellung. Der Laptop selbst ist der Zeit entsprechend leise, schnell, guter Tastaturanschlag und das zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Ich bin zufrieden.

Buying anything else, other than Clevo computers is just plain stupid. This is my 3rd one, in US i was buying Sager ones, in EU Nova does pretty good job keeping price affordable. Definitly would buy again, and i will never understand people who buy HPs, Dells, Leneovo, etc crap..
